The fee for a chapter 13 bankruptcy charged by most attorneys in southern New Jersey is $3,500. This covers all services normally needed to prepare and file a petition and get a plan of repayment approved by the court. If anything unusual happens, the attorney will seek payment of a supplemental fee.
